Meet Our Director
My name is Mary Wenke, and I am the Center Director at The Nurturing Nook Generations. I grew up in a small town in southern Wisconsin and have resided in the Milwaukee area for the past 32 years. I was raised in a large family and learned values that helped shape me into the person that I am today. From my babysitting days on, I knew that working with children would be in my future.
I received my degree in education from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee and have been working in the field of early childhood for the past 35 years. I strongly believe that education is the foundation for success, which must start in the early years. I have been married for 32 years and we enjoy riding our bikes (both bicycles and motorcycle), spending time outdoors, boating, and visiting family and friends.
