Welcome
to The Nurturing Nook. We’ve been caring
for children age 6 weeks through six years since May 1989. Our well received Nanny Program began in
1996. Our Granny Nanny Program was added
in 2005.
Purpose/Mission:
The
Nurturing Nook was created to provide a small, warm, inviting and safe
home-like atmosphere. We offer an
educationally enriching and developmentally appropriate environment for your
child to grow and develop to his or her potential.
Philosophy:
Our
Caregivers are responsible for creating an environment that encourages your
child to achieve his/her full potential in terms of physical, intellectual and
psychological growth. Our Caregivers
provide safety and security, stimulation and encouragement, and reasonable
expectations and limits. We believe
children need both emotional support and structure as the meet each
developmental challenge.

food choices.
